The ACH Audit

# Audits don't start
_from zero_ anymore

The Nacha Rules require an annual compliance audit. Clusia drafts yours from your connected systems, and an AAP-accredited auditor reviews and signs it.

## Your systems _already know_ the answers. Clusia connects and gets them.

#### Nobody pulls a report

Return rates, entry volumes, and exposure limits come straight out of your systems — no spreadsheets or re-keying.

#### Your policies answer the questions

Upload them once. When a question asks what your procedure is, the answer comes from the document that states it.

#### Honest about gaps

Every unanswered question comes with a reason, so you know exactly what's left, why, and how to handle it.

Your part

## You _confirm_, you don't compile

#### Review the drafts

Read what Clusia wrote, fix anything, accept the rest. Most answers take seconds.

#### Assign what isn’t yours

Questions outside your lane can be shared with whoever owns them. They answer in place — nothing gets forwarded.

#### No chasing

Every open question and its owner sit on one list, updated as people answer. You never have to ask where things stand.

The review

## Reviewed and signed by an _accredited_ auditor

#### Accredited review

Qualified and independent, exactly as Nacha requires — an audit your bank recognizes.

#### Findings, documented

Problems come with recommendations and remediation plans, not just flags.

#### Everything on record

Every judgment is logged. There's nothing in the audit you can't show an examiner.

The record

## What _you get_ when it's over

Every answer, decision, and file keeps its trail in Clusia. When you get asked where a number came from, or what changed, the answer is a click away.

The report, certificate, and signed statement of completion — generated the moment the auditor signs, on file six years, and ready the day your bank asks.

## Your questions
_answered_ upfront

Is this a real Nacha audit?

Toggle FAQ

Yes. It covers the Nacha Operating Rules requirements for your participant type and SEC codes, produces findings and recommendations, and ends with a signed statement of completion — the proof of audit your sponsor bank asks for and you're required to retain for six years.

Who actually performs and signs the audit?

Toggle FAQ

AAP-accredited auditors on our team review every answer against its evidence and sign. Nacha requires the audit be performed by someone qualified and independent of your ACH operations.

What do you need from us?

Toggle FAQ

Answers to the audit questions. You can type them in yourself, or connect your systems and upload your policies and most of them fill in automatically. Connections are read-only, you control the keys, and you can revoke access at any time.

What if you find problems?

Toggle FAQ

Nothing lands in the report as a surprise. We raise what we see as we go, you have a chance to respond and provide additional evidence, and anything that remains is documented with a recommendation and a remediation plan.

What does it cost?

Toggle FAQ

A flat fee, quoted before you commit, based on your participant type and codes. No hourly billing and no change orders.

When should we start?

Toggle FAQ

Audits are due December 31 and auditor calendars fill from October. Your team's part is measured in hours either way — starting earlier just means it's off your list.
